Terms of Service

Last updated 27 September 2026.

These terms cover your use of Crack The Loop — the website at cracktheloop.net and the coaching application at app.cracktheloop.net. Booking a session or creating an account means you accept them.

1. Who you are contracting with

Crack The Loop is operated by Bruno Albuquerque, 19053 Planetree St, Orlando, FL 32827, United States ("we", "us"). You can reach us at admin@cracktheloop.net.

2. What we provide

We provide one-to-one technical interview coaching: live sessions with a coach, held in our own browser-based room, together with the written record of those sessions — agendas, scorecards, recaps and any homework set between them.

Coaching is a professional service and nothing more. We are not a recruiter, an employment agency or an employer, we do not represent you to any company, and we have no relationship with the companies you are interviewing at.

3. Your account

You need an account to book a session. You must be at least 18, give accurate details, and keep your sign-in credentials to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you think somebody else has access to it.

One account is for one person. Do not share it, sell it, or let somebody else attend in your place.

4. Booking and rescheduling

Sessions are booked from a coach's published availability. Two limits apply, and the application enforces both when you book:

You may reschedule a booked session from the application, subject to the same limits and to the coach having the new time free. An administrator may also arrange a time outside a coach's published hours where you and the coach have agreed one directly.

5. Cancellations

You can cancel from the application at any time before a session starts. Whether you get your money or your credit back depends on when you cancel:

If we cancel — the coach, or an administrator on their behalf — you always get the credit or the payment back, whenever it happens.

6. Missed sessions

A session nobody attends is still an hour your coach set aside. If you do not appear within 5 minutes of the scheduled start, your coach may record the session as missed. A missed session is not refunded, and we may charge a no-show fee of USD 25.00.

Missed sessions are counted: two within 180 days will suspend your ability to book further sessions until the record clears or we lift it. You can see your standing in the application, and you may ask us to review any individual instance.

The same standard applies to us. If your coach fails to appear, the session costs you nothing and we will reschedule it or return what paid for it, as you prefer.

7. Prices and payment

Prices are published on our site and shown in the application before you confirm anything. All prices are in US dollars and exclude any taxes that may apply to you.

Unless we tell you otherwise, we invoice rather than take card payments at the point of booking: when you book a session that owes money, we email you what is owed and how to pay it. Payment is due before the session runs. We may cancel an unpaid session.

The price of a session is the one shown when you booked it. Changing our published prices never changes the price of something already booked or a package already bought.

8. Credits and packages

You can buy sessions singly or as a package. A package gives you a number of credits, each good for one session of the kind the package describes.

9. Refunds

Sessions canceled in time, and sessions we cancel, are returned as described above. Beyond that, we do not refund sessions that have been delivered.

If something went wrong with a session — it could not be held, the room failed, the coaching was not what was described — tell us within 14 days and we will put it right, by rerunning the session or refunding it. We would rather hear about it than have you write it off.

10. Recordings and notes

Sessions may be recorded so that you can review them afterwards, and your coach writes notes, scorecards and recaps about your work. Recording is disclosed in the room before it starts.

You can see everything written about you that is meant for you. Some of a coach's material — marking schemes, the questions themselves, their own working notes — is not shared, because handing it over would spoil the exercise for you and for everybody else.

How long we keep recordings, and how to have them deleted, is described in our Privacy Policy.

11. Acceptable use

While using Crack The Loop, do not:

12. Intellectual property

Yours stays yours. The code you write, the diagrams you draw and the answers you give in a session are yours. We use them to deliver and improve your coaching — your coach reads them, they appear in your own replay and record — and for nothing else.

Ours stays ours. The application, the site, our interview questions, briefs, marking schemes and reference solutions are ours, and your access to them is a license to use them for your own coaching, not a transfer.

13. Interview material

Our questions get reused. Publishing one, posting it to a forum or passing it to somebody preparing for the same interview devalues it for every candidate who meets it afterwards — so treat what you are shown in a session as confidential, and do not redistribute it.

14. No guarantee of an outcome

Coaching improves how you interview. It cannot guarantee that you will pass an interview, receive an offer, or be hired at any particular level or company — and nothing we say anywhere should be read as promising that.

15. Liability

We provide the service with reasonable care and skill. We do not promise the application will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost profits, or for an opportunity you did not get. Where we are liable, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

16. Suspension and closure

You can close your account at any time from the application's settings, or by asking us. Closing it ends these terms, except for the clauses that by their nature survive — payment for sessions already delivered, intellectual property, confidentiality and liability.

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms. Where we close an account for a reason other than a breach, we refund unused credits.

17. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you, we will tell you by email before it takes effect, and the date at the top of this page always reflects the current version. Continuing to use the service after a change means accepting it. Changes never apply retroactively to a session already booked or a package already bought.

18. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, and the courts of the State of Florida, United States have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute — save that if you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory law of the country you live in.
